Facilitators
The word "facilitator" includes individuals representing organizations
that support small farmers and farmer direct
marketing. This term (facilitators) was used in USDA's publication, Direct Marketing Today
Challenges and Opportunities, to refer to representatives from state agriculture
departments, state and county Extension specialists,
and nongovernmental groups with a variety of
relevant interests.
Advancing direct marketing in Ohio involves a variety of facilitators. The Direct Marketing team provides resources to support those who provide leadership and assistance to connect consumers, producers, markets, and communities.
